Face It
The feeling of defeat was so hard as I gave up,
I ran away,
And I hid.
And only when I was all alone,
Far from those critical eyes,
Did I cry.
I poured my heart out in my tears,
Which fell like little diamonds,
Bluring my reality.
The thoughts in my head became twisted as those gems fell,
I let all my doubts come rushing in,
And I let it crush me.
I choked and I drowned,
I had no idea where I was anymore,
Or who I was.
And I've been down this path before,
Following the dark,
And winding road.
And it's not to say,
I dont like the roads less travelled,
It's just to mention,
That this road I did not prefer to walk.
And I let the darknes
